.Cameo was formed in the 1990’s when Rev Raymond Clarke was Minister. Knitting for Rwanda
After a visit to Rwanda, Maureen Ashdown - our Church Support Worker - inspired us to knit babies hats, cardigans etc (not in white!) and to date we have sent 939 cardigans and jumpers: 64 baby hats; 44 blankets and numerous scarves, mittens and bootees. Many neighbours have heard of the project and have contributed. Also 939 fishermens hats have been sent.
